Hopelessly Disillusioned

REGARDING THE eminent Garry Bushell’s sordid and sickening review of Olivia Newton-John’s new album ‘Totally Hot’ he has reviewed absolutely nothing of the album and spent the whole review making childish remarks about one of the biggest selling recording artistes of the 70’s.

The reason why ONJ can do world tours and have hit albums and singles is not because of the fact that she appeared in Grease, nor does she sing like a female version of Roddy Llewellyn and all her millions of fans and the record buying public are the ones who truly appreciate her artistic talent as a performer and as a humanist.

I used to be a regular reader of your magazine but if you must let your so-called music critics write crap like this then your magazine certainly isn’t worth reading.

Why don’t you just do the job you’re supposed to do and review albums, not give personal opinions of the artiste? Hopelessly devoted to you Livvy,
