Olivia: I Honestly Love You, America!

0LIVIA NEWTON JOHN is making a comeback to the good ol’ U.S.A.!

The songbird returned to her native Australia in the wake of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and planned to live there for a few years with her daughter Chloe, 15. But they have found that they miss life in the States too much To stay away.

“They’ll be back in California by the end of the month,” declares a source in Australia.

“They found life Down Under just a bit too boring after the flash and dash of Tinseltown.” The 53-year-old Grease star reluctantly packed her bags after the horrors of 9/11.

“At the time, Olivia was so concerned that she thought it would be safer for Chloe in Australia,” confides a family friend. “But Chloe began to miss her pals in Malibu and wanted to come home to California.”

Adds the Aussie source, “Chloe is a talented singer and songwriter and she’s got a chance to work with some good people in the United States. Both she and Olivia love Australia, but they realize their roots in America are just too deep to be pulled up. Now, they say they’re finally heading home.”
